I feel desire I already covered on the MTV Video Music Awards here. To summarize. I evaluate they suck. Sunday night's show did not change my opinion. I'm sure you heard about the Britney Spears and the
fight had to be Sarah Silverman. Now I enjoyed that change surface if the celebrity audience did not. Most likely they didn't get it. There were technical and audio problems and just plain boring content. Now you could say I am not in the MTV demo anymore but I would say I bet the change by reversal show didn't find it all to exciting from the MSM:
Described as a "instruct wreck," "incoherent" and "weak" by gossip bloggers and TV critics this year's MTV Video Music Awards has many people wondering whether the longtime popular telecommunicate network has completely lost its appeal. The ratings for the VMAs over the past few years undergo steadily declined but noteworthy events like 2003's kiss between Britney Spears and Madonna and a celebrity-studded red cover were elements obviously missing from the latest VMA installment. MTV programming isn't what it used to be pop culture experts told ABCNews com but then again neither is the entertainment industry. Viewers undergo many more options for entertainment and no longer believe solely on MTV making the audience even harder to impress and the seats change surface harder to alter with celebrities who are spread thin across various outlets.
An MTV spins it all in their advance saying ratings for the latest awards were up and MTV com had record traffic:
MTV com Uniques: MTV com registered 2.6MM unique visitors yesterday. 40 percent higher than last year on the day of the VMAs and by far the site's highest-trafficked day ever. In fact traffic to the site yesterday beat the previous all-time record holder -- last year's day-after VMAs -- by 32 percent.
Kanye West said he is boycotting the show from now on. That has little to do with its relevance but the fact he keeps losing. Kanye. I feel your hurt. I felt that way at the 2006 Lone Star Emmy Awards. Call me?Let's go approve to better times when the VMAs weren't all over the displace and actually had real award categories. Both and have some outstanding VMA performance video from the past. I have young populate reading this communicate comment what you think.(visualise courtesy of Flickr user )
I think it depends on the music you like. The show was 90% hiphop 5%rock mixed with hiphop and the other 5%rnb and pop. If you desire all kind of music it was great if you don't like hiphop then chances are you didn't like the show. To me it was just a spectacle which is entertaining as any other little amusement I sight on youtube but in this case it was in my tivo.
