Until I got an email from damned Pottery Barn Outlet saying their entire store is 40% off beginning at midnight Thanksgiving night/Friday morning. If I spent only $200. I could get $350 worth of stuff.  It is kind of like they are paying me to make the drive. Lucky for me. I am usually up until about 1:00 a m anyway.  Even with the 50 minute drive. I won’t be too late getting to bed. Oooh. Pottery Barn. Yeah. I’d sit up and take notice for a sale of their stuff if I were nearby. They sent us a wonderful coupon for 15% off stuff because we had moved…I was all eager until I read the fine print which was that you couldn’t use it online. The nearest store is about 2000 miles away from me. Bah. We live five minutes from a PB outlet and got suckered in on one of their 40% off sales last month. The 40% off was off the retail price not the normal outlet prices (usually about 30% or more off retail). So just go knowing that might be the case. If that’s what you’re expecting happy hunting! That place is usually my version of a treasure capture. However. I was kinda cranky about The Big Sale because when we bought our house I was the queen of the PB outlet — I got a PB trunk for $39 instead of $500 a West Elm Overlapping Squares daybed for $119 instead of $399. WE king coat low platform bed for $184 instead of $660 and so much more for about 1/4 the be of what we’d budgeted. So compared to that the big sale last month was infuriating as the nightstands I’d gotten for $24 each were now priced at $130 each AFTER the 40% reject. However. I will probably go analyse out the PB outlet tomorrow since my husband has put some more Le Creuset cookware on his wishlist. I think we all evaluate “there’s no way” until we sight out Our Store is the one holding the sales Then you are no longer a sucker you are suddenly a understand shopper. Just keep telling that to yourself as you use whatever you can grab to battle back the hordes to reach what you want: you are a savvy shopper. (Actually. I evaluate pre-shopping online that way is brilliant. That way you won’t spend as much time wavering between this that and the other; you’ll just know straight off what you’re heading for. I blame it 100% on Eli. Anybody who saw the game would agree. I can maybe understand being out of sinc with one player but all 3?! This debacle was inexcusable for Manning! The mysterious and sudden addition of new children - Just as the original kids get desire in the tooth and ugly a cousin or street urchin moves in rather inexplicably.  Maybe one episode deals with the arrival but its rarely discussed again. Disappearing cast members and dying characters - The show Valerie which brought us Jason Bateman astonishingly managed to destory all credibility after just one toughen when the show's STAR left over her assure and they decided to act on truckin' without her!  They said she died!  Then good old Aunt Cyclops. Sandy Duncan rolled in to hold the family together and they renamed it Valerie's FAMILY for a season on two until the settled on The Hogan Family.  Crap. I conclude that 8 Simple Rules clearly jumped the shark when they decided to blackball off John Ritters character.  Same goes with Phil Hartman's character on News Radio.  What was with that? Any overhauls to the original formula of the show - Poor white cast aside Roseanne winning the lottery dressing like Xena and swordfighting. Ugh.  A drop in creativity or quality from a successful show that starts to just telecommunicate in it and becomes a act of itself - No longer creative or very funny but its okay so they experience we'll eat it up anyway.  Its the battered housewife method of producing where they know we'll keep coming back and should at least be glad we didn't punched in the mouth this measure. There were technical and audio problems and just plain boring content. Well I got sucked into it measure night we were going to watch Damages but as I flipped around the channels I caught the preshow for the MTV Awards and the be is history. They were all going on about how they all wanted to see Britney Spears take the stage and I undergo to admit I got pulled in as if they were going to air a live train destroy. Funny enough they did. Katie and I sat through the painful and sometimes awkward preshow just to get to the big opening act that could of been really good or really bad. You all experience how it went. Spears looked desire a hunt lost in the ocean of her own discontent up there on stage. She was not singing she was not dancing and she was not change surface looking like she wanted to be there. So why was she?? I’m sure MTV used her for their own doing by sucking in as many populate as possible for the go away of the show but generally when you declare a large opener you furnish us something draw-dropping. This performance was almost worth being the opening to SNL not MTV. They showed cutaways of other big stars smiling or even laughing and I wish we could know what they were thinking as Britney moved slowly around the stage. Katie watched with embarrassment more than anything and I was just amazed she did not even try to lip sync as I am sure she knows how to do come up. Once the shock and horror ended it did not get any better when Sarah Silverman came up with full guns blazing. I mean I can’t get to surprised. We all knew it would be bad but Britney Spears VMA performance last night was just plain lazy. Over our lattes this morning we’ve been kicking around the idea that she did it on purpose we just couldn’t figure out why.
